ANONOMOS® is a new social enterprise with a mission to unite the people of LA through the power of creativity.

ANONOMOS® will be an independent journal of journalism, art, culture and ideas dedicated to advancing human dignity.

Inspired by The Big Issue and reimagined for a new generation, we bring together investigative journalism, photography, essays, film and conversation.

Our mission is simple: to make the invisible visible and inspire collaboration across communities, the creative industries and leadership.

Our editorial vision is grounded in the belief that journalism should seek truth before opinion, centre dignity, elevate unheard voices, celebrate creativity as a force for social change and inspire practical action—not just awareness.

Our initiatives include the journal, published in print and digitally; the Map of Dignity; practical guides connecting people with resources; documentaries and films; podcasts; and creative commissions with artists and photographers.

We work with journalists, nonprofit partners, cultural institutions, universities, brands committed to social impact and philanthropic supporters to create meaningful change.

Opportunities to collaborate and partner with us include editorial contributions, brand partnerships, philanthropic support, events and exhibitions, educational programs and original storytelling.

Our vision is to become one of the world’s leading independent journals exploring human dignity through journalism, art and culture—building understanding, encouraging collaboration and creating lasting social impact.

Why support us and not just make a donation to a charity?

ANONOMOS® is designed to change the system. It brings untold stories from the street into the spotlight, creating pathways for people experiencing homelessness to contribute, express their creativity and build economic independence.

Can I track the progress of the project if I donate ?

Absolutely. Once you contribute, you’ll receive periodic email updates, impact reports, and photo stories so you can follow the journey from initial planning through completion and beyond. You can also follow us on our socials to track where things are at.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

We’re not a registered charity. ANONOMOS® is a social enterprise — built by creatives, volunteers and artists who want to make a real difference in the LA community. Every dollar beyond production goes directly to organisations on the frontline tackling homelessness.

How do you work with charities and volunteer orgs?

We partner with organisations and charities working on the ground to help drive real change for people experiencing homelessness. This includes mobilising volunteer networks like Third Wave Volunteers to support distribution of ANONOMOS®, alongside food, water, and sanitation drops.

Non-profit organisations like My Friend’s Place are direct beneficiaries of the funds raised, ensuring support goes straight to those responding to youth and young adult homelessness through frontline initiatives.
