60,000 people sleep homeless in Los Angeles every night. We’re building something to change that.

ANONOMOS®

ANONOMOS® is a new social enterprise using creativity, media and community to tackle one of the biggest challenges of our time - homelessness. Born as a street newspaper, a culture paper by nature. Our beat is to unite the LA community — real stories from the street, in the hands of the public, driving change with every edition sold.

Litter and personal belongings, including clothing and bags, scattered on a sidewalk in front of a graffiti-covered wall.
A person in a wheelchair with a backpack on the back, seen from behind, on a sidewalk with large planters and trees in an outdoor urban setting.

We’re on a mission to raise $30,000 to launch the first edition of ANONOMOS® — funding production, contributors, distribution and the platform needed to bring it to life.

We partner with people and orgs on the ground who are already driving real change.

Two men sit on chairs against a brick wall on a city sidewalk; one is wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and the other wears a turban and glasses, with bags placed beside them.
Group of people outdoors at a park, smiling for a photo, some wearing hats and sunglasses, with trees and a tall structure in the background.
A graffiti-covered metal electrical box on a sidewalk, with a tent and a plastic bottle nearby, in an urban area with storefronts and parked cars in the background.
An elderly man with a beanie covering his head, covering part of his face with one hand, eyes closed, leaning against a brick wall.

Inspired by the UK’s The Big Issue magazine — which has raised over $144 million— we’re reimagining the model for LA and beyond.

Your Questions,
Answered

Why support us and not just make a donation to a charity?

ANONOMOS® is designed to change the system. It brings untold stories from the street into the spotlight, creating pathways for people experiencing homelessness to contribute, express their creativity and build economic independence.

Can I track the progress of the project if I donate ?

Absolutely. Once you contribute, you’ll receive periodic email updates, impact reports, and photo stories so you can follow the journey from initial planning through completion and beyond. You can also follow us on our socials to track where things are at.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

We’re not a registered charity. ANONOMOS® is a social enterprise — built by creatives, volunteers and artists who want to make a real difference in the LA community. Every dollar beyond production goes directly to organisations on the frontline tackling homelessness.

How do you work with charities and volunteer orgs?

We partner with organisations and charities working on the ground to help drive real change for people experiencing homelessness. This includes mobilising volunteer networks like Third Wave Volunteers to support distribution of ANONOMOS®, alongside food, water, and sanitation drops.

Non-profit organisations like My Friend’s Place are direct beneficiaries of the funds raised, ensuring support goes straight to those responding to youth and young adult homelessness through frontline initiatives.
